With its stunning natural beauty—the quiet calm of the lake we stayed by made every evening a treat—and the incredibly kind, welcoming people, there’s a spirit here that instantly embraces you. The first impression of Twin City was of a vibrant, healthy community: families out walking, kids running and playing freely. It’s a place that embodies the spirit of an old saying we heard from a local woman in Chippewa Falls: “In Wisconsin, you don’t have family trees, you have family wreaths.” That beautiful image perfectly captures the tight-knit, intertwined nature of this community—a true family in every sense.
