"I didn't make a dollar today, but I've never been paid more, I was paid in smiles and kindness, and it was the most rewarding job I've ever done." I believe that is awesome proof of how God loves us. He said, "love your neighbor," when we do that, we get "paid" more than what we could ever get from money.

One resident was standing off to the side of it all, just smiling so big. I asked him if he was going to get some food. "In a little bit. I want to just stand here and take this all in. This is what it was like years ago when I moved here. Families gathered and had fun. Listen to the mixture of voices and the laughter. The smiles on everybody's faces. I want to get a picture of this as a reminder that this is who we are!"

A high school girl came to me full of emotion and crying. She told me "THIS is what life is all about!" She thanked us for having them and wants to continue to help people in the name of Christ.

Rob told me that he "has to come" to these events because it feeds his soul. All I can say is Amen, Rob, AMEN!

"In all the 21 years I have lived here no owner has ever done something like this"

One resident stated "I didn't believe the owners of the company came to help, they are just too nice", and "Why would the owners come out to help us here?"
